CEC Membership Information

Thank you for your interest in the Citizen’s Environmental Coalition.

The CEC is a collection of more than 90 organizations representing tens of thousands of individuals working to make Houston a better place to live. CEC serves as the umbrella organization for Houston’s environmental community, as well as a link with other concerned parties, such as businesses and government agencies.We provide information, education and training on environmental issues through workshops, seminars, forums, activities and programs throughout the year.Our primary information resources are our web site, our monthly newsletter and calendar and our annual Environmental Resource Guide. The guide is a one-of-a-kind listing of Houston environmental organizations, state and local agencies, hotlines and other information.Our activities are made possible through the financial and in-kind contributions of foundations, businesses and concerned individuals such as yourself. Members receive regular informative mailings and news about upcoming events.
