Want locally-grown, organic fruits and veggies without paying gourmet food store prices? Central City Co-op (CCC) buys bulk organic produce - locally and seasonally when possible - and distributes their purchases among members. Here’s how it works:

On Wednesdays, customers place their orders. Small ($15) and large ($28) boxes of mixed co-op produce are available, as well as small ($17) or large ($27) boxes from a local farmer. The next Wednesday, the hungry folks pick up their assorted fresh goodies at co-op headquarters, off Greenbriar and Colquitt.

If the Greenbriar and Colquitt location doesn’t work for you, CCC can direct you to a similar co-op in your area.
