Clean the Garage
Don’t know what to do with all the leftover paint and the pesticides that you quit using in your garage? Take them to the 2001 Community Household Waste Day on Saturday, October 20 from 9 am to 3 pm. Household hazardous waste items, such as oil and oil filters, paint, batteries, pesticides, and other chemicals will be collected at the Westhollow Tech. Center at the end of Westhollow Drive, near the corner of Highway 6 and Richmond Avenue. Fireworks, explosives, tires, smoke detectors, medical waste, radioactive waste, and ammunition will not be accepted. Call Mark Wallet at 281-544-8046 for more information.
