Learn how electricity is generated and how Reliant plans to reduce its nitrogen oxide (NOx) emissions by 88 percent. A 1999 national ranking of power plants listed W.A. Parrish as the 28th highest emitter of NOx, a principal precursor in the formation of ground-level ozone.
