Resource Corner Helpful hints for CEC member organizations The Volunteer Center of Houston serves as a recruitment service for those seeking the assistance of volunteers. The center will take requests, generate volunteer interest, and put your organization in contact with those who want to help. In addition to publicizing volunteer opportunities in a number of publications and web sites, the Houston Chronicle prints a weekly section entitled “Volunteering” to advertise opportunities in our community.
