Wildlife Rehabilitation Workshop
This workshop sponsored by the Wildlife Rehabilitation and Education
Organization and the Du Pont La Porte Wildlife Team will cover
topics including: how to become a wildlife rehabilitator, introduction

the relationship between wildlife veterinarian and wildlife rehabilitator.

Heritage Plants
This Mercer Arboretum and Botanic Gardens program will feature
Pam Puryear, a historian who applies history to horticulture and
is also one of the founders of the Rose Rustlers, a group that
seeks out and obtains cuttings of old roses from homesteads, cemeteries,
or anywhere a rose has survived for at least a hundred years.

This conference presented by the Texas Association for Environmental
Education (TAEE) and the Houston Independent School DistrictÕs

workshops, as well as a workshop on the rhythms and music of African

1998 Trash Bash
The 1998 Rivers, Lakes, Bays and Bayous Trash Bash, coordinated
by the Gulf Coast Authority includes trash pickup at 11 sites

also feature activities for girl and boy scouts.
