Purpose Statement: Houston Women’s Caucus for Art actively supports equal opportunity and visibility for women’s work. It is a committed forum for education, contemporary social issues, cultural diversity, and freedom of artistic expression.

Publications: Bimonthly newsletter, exhibition catalogs, and postcards.

Major Events: Mother Earth Eco-Sculpture at Challenger 7 Memorial Park in the Clear Lake area.

Children’s Activities: Art exhibitions and art workshops at the Houston Public Library – Central Library and branches around the city.

Volunteer Opportunities: HWCA wants to hear from you! Volunteer to update their web site, hang an art exhibition, assemble an exhibition catalog, host a program, prepare newsletters, or assist with preparations for the Chapel of Pioneers – a Canary Project associated with the Banners Project.
