Purpose Statement: HOLA is a non-profit organization providing an experiential, adventure-based school, with integrated outdoor and environmental education objectives, for students in grades six through twelve.

Programs Adventure-based, outdoor education program integrated with academic content; Field Trips; Domestic and International Travel; Local Community Service; Self-Esteem Building; ROPES Course; Nature Studies; Environmental Education and Ethics Studies; Natural History, Habitat, Plant, and Native Species Studies; Outdoor Skills Education including camping, canoeing, kayaking, SCUBA, and boating.

Major Events: Annual Fall Backpacking Trip, Sept/Oct; Annual Spring International Trip, Mar/Apr; Trash Bash; Beach Cleanup; Earth Day; Summer Outdoor Adventure Program, Jun/July.

Children's Activities: Summer programs for children ages 9 and up.

Volunteer Opportunities: Fundraising; grantwriting; clerical; tutors for students; volunteer teachers.
