Purpose Statement: Improving human and ecosystem
well being; serving as a neutral organization which leverages collaborative
links with universities, industry, and governmental agencies to address
complex issues relating to how people interact with and impact ecosystems
on a regional scale; applying an interdisciplinary approach to its research
and policy priorities to improve decision-making and increase awareness
of sustainability concepts.
