Purpose Statement: Promotion and advancement of electric vehicles – charging into the future.
Major Events: A.P.S. electric 500 (Sponsor). Also,
electric car showing at: Houston Autorama, CEC Houston Earth Day, and
Texas Recycles Festival.
Speakers Bureau: Dale Brooks or Ben Chamberlain.
Children’s Activities: Sponsor high school projects involving conversion and go-cart type cars.
Regular Public Meeting Time: Third Thursday of each month, 6:30-8:30 p.m., Houston Environmental Center, Suite 280 (3015 Richmond at Eastside).
Volunteer Opportunities: School projects, car shows.
