Purpose Statement: CLEAN is an organization whose emphasis is on public education and environmental data collection. It relies on science and technology to solve air, water, and soil pollution problems.
CLEAN’s goals are to:
- Educate and encourage a knowledgeable public by providing readily available and easily accessible information,
- Facilitate collaboration among health organizations, civic agencies, and related non-profit organizations, and
- Improve environmental quality, especially critical for the neighborhoods and schools in direct proximity to concentrated air pollution sources.
CLEAN’s mission is to educate and encourage citizens to protect children, future generations, and endangered species from environmental abuses.
