Purpose Statement: BPA’s mission is to protect and restore the richness and diversity of our waterways through activism, advocacy, collaboration and education. BPA works on maintaining the health of our area bayous. BPA sponsors educational seminars, bayou cleanups, canoe launches, water quality monitoring and other bayou related activities. BPA works to maintain our floodways as habitat corridors. BPA supports buyouts and other habitat friendly alternatives for flood controls. Check BPA’s website for the stream classification of our area bayous.
Publications: Newsletter - 6 times a year, to supporters.
