Purpose Statement: To preserve native habitat along Armand Bayou and to provide outdoor experiences and educational opportunities for people.

Publication: Quarterly newsletter.

Major Events: EcoCamp, June and July; Creepy Crawlers, Oct. 24 and 25; Fall Festival, Nov. 8 and 9; Winter Camp, December and January.

Meeting Times: Monthly Board of Trustees meeting and monthly volunteer meetings at the Nature Center.

Children’s Activities: School field trip opportunities include reptile study, animal adaptations, pond study, insect study, weekend and after school classes, summer day camp classes, environmental history classes at demonstration turn-of-the-century farm site, scout badge workshops.

Volunteer Opportunities: Trail guides, natural history teachers, teaching farm classes, field work such as non-native plant control, assistance with wildlife management work, reception assistance and volunteer training.
