O’Quinn I-45 estuarial corridor and the contiguous 1500 acres of undeveloped coastal habitat on the Virginia Point peninsula. Major Events: SG wetlands work days, 2nd Thursdays, 3rd Saturdays; plant/bird/water quality monitoring; regular estuary and Virginia Point clean-ups; Trash Bash each spring, partnering with GLO. Children’s Activities: Developing SusanMcGuffey’s “Little Peoples” educational marsh off the I- 45 corridor to the east of the Santa Fe overpass bridge. Limited marsh planting and related opportunities for older youth groups.

Volunteer Opportunities: Estuary work days; students, birding groups, paddlers and others engaged in non-intrusive public use.
