Description: Owl prowls begin with a lively educational program on

rehabilitated owls. Audubon docents then lead participants along the
sanctuary's wooded trails in search of resident screech owls. All
participants must be at least 6 years old. Reservations are required
and can be made on-line at www.houstonaudubon.org (under the heading
"Audubon Docent Programs"/Owl Prowls using the on-line reservation
form), by e-mail at docent@houstonaudubon.org, or by phone
(713-464-4900). The cost is $10 per adult, $6 per child (6 - 17 years
old), and the maximum number of reservations permitted per family or
group is 5. Dress for walking in the woods (including insect
repellant). Adults may bring a flashlight.
