A Watershed Protection Plan for Cedar Bayou

A Watershed Protection Plan provides a better understanding of the sources of water pollution and what area governments, individuals, community groups, and business and industry can do to improve water quality. Cedar Bayou is a tributary to the Galveston Bay system, thus any sources of contamination potentially impact a wide range of economic and ecological interests even beyond their watershed of origin.

The Cedar Bayou Watershed Partnership will hold a public meeting on:

Thursday, August 7, 2014
5:30-7:30 p.m.
Eddie V Gray Wetland Center
1724 Market Street, Baytown

We will be discussing the project progress, modeling results, and future steps. We welcome anyone interested in participating in this community-driven project to protect public health, local economies, and the environment.
