This fall, Blackwood Educational Land Institute is excited to offer Camp Little Green Feet. This day camp will introduce younger children to Sustainable Agriculture in an intensive and interactive way, and encourage families to cook together more often.
Camp Little Greet Feet is a day camp for 3-5 year-olds and their caregivers, hosted on Saturday, November 4, 2017, from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The cost for one child and one caregiver pair is $89.

The Youth Making Ripples Contest is an ocean conservation-inspired film festival and competition which challenges K–12 students to produce short ocean documentaries (< 5 min.) about problems that face the ocean, and possible solutions to these issues. The website provides film maker resources, examples of previous winning films, and submission details. Students can win small scholarships and participate on the annual shark tagging expedition. The deadline for submission is December 5th, 2017.
The 2018 Youth Making Ripples Film Festival will take place on January 25, 2018 and will be hosted by the Mote Marine Laboratory. A portion of the festival will focus specifically on plastic pollution and feature Motes new exhibit called “Sea Debris: Awareness through Art”. Check back soon for details and information.
