BBP’s young professionals group, Bayou Buddies, invites you to join the “Love Generation” for an evening at the original home of Love Street Light Circus and Feelgood Machine, Houston’s most popular psychedelic club in the late 1960s and now home to Buffalo Bayou Partnership.
DJ Felix will provide a tailored soundtrack for the night, and there will be plenty of light bites and beverages to enjoy.  60s threads are encouraged!
After the party, we’ll head on over to our neighbors on Main Street, Moving Sidewalk, the official Love Street after-party bar!

Houstonians, ages 9 and up, are invited to join Buffalo Bayou Partnership for community-wide volunteer days at Buffalo Bayou Park happening the third Saturday of each month. Whether volunteering as a large or small group, or individually, your efforts will lead to a healthier environment and a more aesthetically pleasing amenity for all to enjoy.

Volunteers will help with a variety of tasks, including but not limited to: trash pick-up, mulching and weed removal. We do ask that all volunteers bring their own work gloves. All other necessary work tools will be provided by BBP.

You are invited to this year’s Buffalo Bayou Partnership Gala, Sunset on the Bayou on Thursday, November 2, 2017, from 6:30 to 10:00 PM. Guests will dine al fresco on the beautiful lawn at The Water Works in Buffalo Bayou Park while honoring Susan Keeton and celebrating renovation of the historic Sunset Coffee Building. The mission of the Houston Food Policy Workgroup is to nurture the growth of a sustainable local food system, accessible to all, through education, collaboration, communication, and creation of a food policy council for the Houston region.

Meetings are open to the public and generally include leaders from various diverse organizations in the Houston region working on food issues. The group meets to discuss and encourage the advancement of local food production and consumption, and has begun to take on projects to work towards the functions stated in the mission statement. This group depends on the varied areas of expertise of its members, which allows the group to successfully move forward in its endeavors.

The workgroup meets at 11:30 AM on the second Wednesday of each month.  All are welcome, as long as you RSVP.

Quarterly Rural Meetings
Every three months, we meet move the monthly meeting to somewhere around the Houston region to allow rural partners and farmers easier access to participate in the workgroup and to expose Houstonians to Houston’s agricultural assets.
