Houston Urban Gardeners (HUG) Meeting
Jan 8 @ 6:30 pm
Houston Urban Gardeners (HUG) Meeting @ Houston | Texas | United States

The purpose of HUG is to fully support Houstonians growing their own food and eating more fresh local produce.
We do this with timely presentations at monthly meetings, an informative website (www.HoustonUrbanGardeners.org), a free, content-packed monthly e-newsletter, a Twitter and Facebook page, and a yearly home garden visitation event. To foster neighborhood interactions at every meeting, a large basic map of Houston divides the city into 5 zones. Name tags are color-coded to each of the five areas. In this way attendees have been able to find people in their part of this large city and sometimes to share the work load of growing vegetables.

We meet the 2nd Monday of every month at 6:30 PM.
