Join us in Austin on Saturday, September 15th to celebrate TCE’s 21 years of
protecting our air, water, land and health! We will transform Delta Millworks from
an active lumber mill into a fabulous fashion runway for our second Trash Makeover
Challenge.
Fashion designers will display stunning garments created from recycled materials, a
silent auction will feature weekend getaway packages, fashion accessories and other
unique items, and we’ll finish the night with a dance party featuring DJ Bobby
West spinning eclectic and versatile beats!
Tickets are $25 and will include drinks + dessert; additional food will be available
for purchase from three local vendors: Surf & Turf Po’ Boys,
Cazamance, and Mellizoz Tacos.
The main event is 7 – 10 PM, and the dance party will run 10 PM – 1 AM.
All proceeds will bolster our grassroots organizing efforts to pass legislation to
keep toxic e-waste out of our landfills and expand recycling opportunities for all
Texans.
