Texas Community Watershed Program seeks Stormwater Wetland Program Manager

Texas Community Watershed Program, part of the Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service, is hiring a manager for the Stormwater Wetland Program. This position will advance the use of designed stormwater treatment wetlands as a Best Management Practice for water quality and habitat improvement. The Program Manager envisions the direction of the stormwater wetland program and works to make that vision a reality through partnerships and projects.

In addition, the Program Manager will work collaboratively with community project partners to identify, plan, fund, implement, maintain, and provide educational outreach on stormwater treatment wetland demonstration sites. Key activities include outreach to stakeholder groups, project partners, and the public; operating TCWP wetland nurseries; recruiting and managing volunteers and staff for workdays and planting events; managing contract deliverables; and applying for grants.

This full-time position is based in Houston at the TCWP office in Clear Lake City.
