Houston City Council Agenda – April 2, 2018

This city considered the following agenda items at the April 2, 2018, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include contracts to clean sanitary sewers and haul waste in the city of Houston.

35: Over $329,000 from the Metro Projects Construction DDSRF between the City of the Houston and Harris County Flood Control District for the Brays Bayou Flood Damage Reduction Plan to replace the Ardmore Street Bridge.

38: Over $5 million has been designated for the Northeast Water Purification Plant Expansion Project. This will be used to construct West Filters and transfer pump stations. This is a joint venture between CH2M Hill Engineers, Inc and CDM Constructors Inc.

39: Over $1.2 million from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Fund was awarded to PM Construction & Rehab, LLC for the relocation of sewer services for around 100 properties throughout Houston.

40: Over $1.9 million from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Fund was awarded to Redzone Robotics to use robotic technology to inspect sewer systems for repairs. The purpose is to reduce sanitary sewer overflows by cleaning and inspecting which lines need repair.

41-43: The following entities are given the right to collect, haul, and transport solid and industrial waste from commercial properties within the city of Houston.
