Houston City Council Agenda – November 8, 2017
This city will consider the following agenda items at the November 8, 2017, Houston Council Meeting. The agenda items include plans to reduce storm water run-off and fix deteriorated sewer systems.
19 – $600,000 from the Street & Traffic Control and Storm Drainage DDSRF was granted to Jones & Carter Inc. This is part of the Street and Traffic Capital Improvement Project (CIP) to design and construct detention basins to reduce the impact of storm water run-off into sewer systems and bayous.
22 – Over $2.7 million from the Water & Sewer System Consolidated Construction Fund; was awarded to Portland Utilities Construction Company, LLCÂ for Wastewater Collection System Rehabilitation and Renewal. Their work will reduce sanity sewer overflows by fixing deteriorated collection systems.
