Description: Bat World Sanctuary is pleased to partner with the Botanical Research Institute of Texas (BRIT) in 
presenting a full‐day continuing education symposium on August 11, 2012, for naturalists, agricultural 
agents, ranchers, zoologists, speleologists, natural resource managers, wildlife biologists, and others 
who are interested in learning more about bats. This informative and engaging program offers 
attendees a wealth of information about bats and the environment, how we benefit from bats, and 
what we can do to help protect these unique animals. The program includes a live animal 
presentation/lecture, discussion, and interactive activities as participants explore the fascinating world 
of bats.
