This class gives you all of the tools necessary to organize a successful community garden endeavor, including planning, goal setting, establishing priorities, creating plans of action, organizing volunteers and funding. Additionally, the class covers the fundamentals of building the garden which include: space savvy bed arrangements, dimensions, materials, best soil choices, and more. Finally, the class reviews the best vegetables to grow in the Houston area.
