After camp classes are weeklong programs held at the Arboretum.

Texas Climate Emergency Campaign and CLEAN report on the Amercan Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009

Harris County is the leading emitter of greenhouse gas emissions in the nation, reports Charles Stillman of the Texas Climate Emergency Campaign. A very important climate bill known as the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 was recently introduced in the House Energy and Commerce Committee. Houston Congressman Gene Green is a member of that committee and his support is critical to the creation of strong global warming legislation. (more…)

Artist Boat seeks volunteers to restore dunes
