The tentative plan is to ride from a point along Buffalo Bayou bike trail through Memorial Park to the Houston Arboretum, with a possible visit to the Beer Can House. The tour will begin at 9:00 am and will last approximately 3-4 hours, taking a leisurely pace. Participants must bring a helmet and a bike lock. Don’t forget water.

Nightlife on the bayou is a lively chorus of frog songs and owl calls. Some of the workers of the night shift include: raccoons, opossums, nutria, deer, owls, snakes, turtles and alligators. Leave from Bay Area Park aboard the “Bayou Ranger” pontoon boat. This trip is the best chance you have for seeing big alligators up close.
