Purpose: Dedicated as scenic habitat conservation preserves, Scenic Galveston’s mission is permanent protection and restoration of its 900-acre JohnM. O’Quinn I-45 estuarial corridor and the contiguous 1500 acres of undeveloped coastal habitat on the Virginia Point peninsula. Publications: Regular updates and project news to members, volunteers, agency partners, and Estuary Friends.

Purpose: Scenic Houston is committed to making Houston uncommonly beautiful and economically dynamic city. It is our belief that successful economic development can only be achieved if a high priority is placed on quality of life issues. Increasing the aesthetic, fitness/recreational and natural aspects of the Houston region creates a livable city that promotes prosperity, growth and wellness policies at all levels of government which promote and enhance the quality of life aspects of our urban landscape.
